Sixth Form Enrichment: GCSE Italian

This is a beginners’ course which aims to give the student the ability to use the language effectively for the purpose of practical communication. Students studying A-Level languages would derive considerable benefit from learning an additional language at this level, but it is also suitable for any student wishing to learn a new language. This course is topic-based, covering all areas of everyday life. The four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing will be developed through the study of these topics. The student will be tested in all the language skills in differentiated levels of assessment - 75% assessment by examination plus 25% by coursework.
