Westminster Showcase
On Friday 10th July, Grey Coat was represented at a Performing Arts Showcase at Paddington Academy by a rock band containing music students Hannah Timson, Sophia Rodrigues, Maia Rowe-Sampson and Chloe Woollett. The girls impressed the audience in what was their first public performance, even performing one of their own compositions.

BBC "Go Sing"
On Tuesday 7th July many of our students performed with the BBC Singers at the famous "Go Sing" event.  Students from Year 7 Choir, the Gospel Choir and the Concert Choir performed with several other schools from Westminster at Methodist Central Hall. The concert was recorded for BBC Radio 3 and the students even got to meet Gethin Jones.

Busking Cancer 2009
On Wednesday 24th June, musicians from every year group gave up their lunch break to raise money for Cancer Research. As part of the national Busking Cancer event, the musicians entertained staff and students at lower school by busking in the playground (luckily, it was a sunny day). Over £300 was raised and thank you to all those who performed or gave generously.
