Year 9 Greek Exchange Trip to Edessa
July 2007
On 14th July 2007, a number of Year 9 students visited Edessa in Greece as part of the Comenius project they have been involved in for much of their school year. Teaming up with a partner school in Edessa, both sets of students have been involved in cross curricular activities involving Art, History and Language lessons. The study among students at Grey Coat has centred on the art, history, monuments and culture during the reign of Alexander the Great whilst our Greek students have focused on William the Conquerer.
