If you are a parent or carer considering applying for a place at The Grey Coat Hospital for your daughter in Year 7 in September 2020, please review the documents below relating to admissions for the academic year 2020-2021.
Please do not send the sample documents to the school, as original forms will be available to download from our website in mid-September. Full admissions packs will also be available from the school in mid-September.
Visiting The Grey Coat Hospital
Parents or carers interested in applying for a place for their daughter to join Year 7 in September 2020 are invited to visit the school by attending 1 of a series of 7 open events in September and October 2019. Entry to these events are by ticket only. (Links to tickets will be available in September 2019).
These will be held at the following times:
Monday 30th September 2019 at 5pm or 6pm
Thursday 10th October 2019 at 5pm or 6pm
Tuesday 24th September 2019 at 1.45pm to 3.20pm
Tuesday 1st October 2019 at 1.45pm to 3.20pm
Wednesday 9th October 2019 at 1.45pm to 3.20pm
Please note: All Open Events are held at our St Andrew's building on Greycoat Place, London, SW1P 2DY.

This is your ONLY invitation to attend the Assessment Test and please note the address is different from the venue for the Open Events.
Admissions : Entry into Year 7 in September 2019
Letters informing parents of the outcomes of applications to the school will be despatched by their local education authorities on the 1st March 2019. Parents and carers who have not received notification from their local education authority by 5th March 2019 should contact their authority directly.
Outcome letters from Grey Coat Hospital will be despatched during the week of the 1st March 2019. Parents and carers who have not received a letter from Grey Coat by 8th March 2019 should contact the school. Please note we are unable to take calls regarding the outcomes of applications or waiting list enquiries until after 16th March 2019 once responses to offers are in.
Parents and carers anticipating appealing should follow the instructions contained in the letter from the school, and may download the appeals form by clicking on the link below.
When the appeals clerk receives the form, they will write to you to confirm receipt. The completed appeals form (including a self- addressed, stamped envelope) must reach the appeals clerk no later than Friday 31st March 2019. Appeals will be heard in early June 2019. Prior to the appeals hearings, parents will receive their appointment date and time, the venue and any relevant documentation.
