Necessary Skills and Qualities A qualified graduate with QTS (usually 2:1 or above); Conversant with  recent developments in the relevant subject areas; A commitment to excellence and academic rigour; A passion for teaching; The ability to inspire and motivate students; An awareness of the importance of assessment and the ability to use this to inform;            individual planning and target setting; Evidence of commitment to Continued Professional Development; Evidence of success as working as part of a team; A willingness to work hard in the pursuit of excellence; A commitment to the Christian ethos of the school; Flexibility; Ability to show initiative and openness to new ideas; Experience in the use of ICT in the raising of achievement and of relevant educational software; Good organisational skills.
