Faith Forum focuses on Women in World Religions

The RE department held the first GCH ‘Faith Forum’ in July 2010, as part of Activities Week. Aimed at Year 9 students,
 the focus was the theme of women in various world religions, and students had prepared for the day by learning
about the role of women in Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism and Judaism in lessons leading up to
the day.  Featuring guest speakers from various faiths, including representatives from the London Buddhist Centre
and the Jewish Board of Deputies, and presentations from students in their form groups, this was an exciting and
informative day.
