News: Samaritan Operation Christmas Child Appeal...
27th November 2008 On Thursday 27th November 2008, The Grey Coat Hospital sent off over one-hundred Christmas-wrapped shoe boxes filled with gifts for needy children around the world, as part of The Samaritans Operation Christmas Child Appeal.
Over the past few weeks, students in Year 9 have been busily preparing their old shoe boxes with toys, sweets, school supplies and other gifts for needy children in hospitals, orphanages, homeless shelters and Internally Displaced Persons camps around the world. These will be sent by The Samaritans to some of the world’s poorest children at Christmas time.
