News : Pastoral Day 2006

This year's Pastoral Day took place on Friday 15th September and concentrated on the theme of the school year - Respect. The whole school got involved with a day off timetable to consider the theme of respect through creative workshops, games and drama. Students created wall hangings and patchwork quilts in form groups based on what respect means to them - examples of some of their beautiful work is show above. It was also an inspirational day for students having heard speaker Jamie Andrew describe his experience of losing his hands and feet while mountaineering in the French Alps. Please see the images below which were taken from the day.
