If you are a current student in the Sixth Form at The Grey Coat Hospital then these pages are for you.

Sixth Form Passes & entry to the school
A student who arrives to either building without her/his pass will not be allowed to enter irrespective of the reason.  The student will be encouraged either to return home to collect the pass or to get a new photograph if the pass has been lost.  The rule is necessary due to the security of both buildings, based on recommendations of an outside inspector.

Once students have entered either building they must sign in. At St Andrew’s, students must enter through the front door not the side gate.

Punctuality
Students are not allowed into period 1 beyond 9:15 am and 5 minutes after the start of any other lesson.  We have, however, issued late slips for students who have encountered severe transport difficulties (Transport for London is contacted).  We have reviewed this practice and decided to make  the following changes:

· Students will only be issued a late slip up to 9.35 am.

· Students will only be issued two late slips per term.

All of the school’s rules are formulated to benefit the whole community and to ensure that individuals take responsibility for their actions.  We strongly believe that students should be punctual to school and therefore not disturb lessons due to lateness.

Both of the above rules are stated in the school contract which all Sixth Form students and parents signed in September.

If you wish to discuss anything to do with passes or punctuality please contact Ms Stevenson.
