Please find the following documents you require here: Application Form Sixth Form Prospectus Sixth Form Entry Requirements Course Offer Grid 2013-2015 GENERAL INFORMATION The Sixth Form is currently made up of around 300 students who are studying a wide range of subjects and qualifications, which include AS/A2, GCE Applied and BTEC. We are confident in our ability to tutor students to the best of their ability across a range of subjects and to educate the ‘whole person’ through our comprehensive enrichment and extra-curricular activities. OUTSTANDING - OFSTED Our Ofsted report in March 2009 noted that “the Sixth Form is outstanding. The excellent care, curriculum and leadership and management provide an exceptional environment in which students make outstanding personal development and achieve well”. EXCELLENT RESULTS In 2010 the average UCAS point score was 333. In 2009, this was 321, and in 2008 the UCAS point score was 308. Year on year our students achieve high and excel to the best of their ability. The Sixth Form experience at GCH is exciting and challenging. Our aim is to give all the students the best opportunity to begin their post-compulsory education in an environment that offers structure but at the same time allows students to take responsibility for their learning. CONSORTIUM The Sixth Form is also a part of the 6f – Westminster 16-19 partnership; this consortium allows students to take one subject at one of the other partnership schools or colleges, which subsequently increases choice for students and allows them more flexibility. This again supports the breadth and diversity of choice for students and often helps to support and resolve any clashes in students’ subject choices.
