Year 6 Open Day Sessions
The Grey Coat Hospital will host a number of open afternoon and evening sessions for parents and students who are interested in applying for Year 7 in 2026. The sessions will take place at the St Andrew’s site on Greycoat Place, SW1P 2DY. The sessions are below. The links to book your ticket/s will also be available on this page by the end of next week.

Applying for Year 7 in September 2026
If your daughter is currently in Year 6, you can now apply for Year 7 in 2026.
If you wish to be considered for a place at The Grey Coat Hospital, please carefully read all of the information on this page and within the attached documents.
To be eligible to be considered, you must do the following:

Submit an online application via your Local Authority.

Complete the Grey Coat Hospital online Supplementary Form. More details about this, including the link to the form, can be found in the document below titled Supplementary Form for Year 7 in 2026.

Attend The Grey Coat Hospital Banding Test on Monday the 1st of December, 2025. More details about the test will be published in a document titled Banding Test Information. This will be published in late-October.
Please note that the deadline for your child’s eAdmissions application via your Local Authority and the online Supplementary Form is Friday the 31st of October, 2025.
If you wish to be considered for a Church place, a Clergy Form must be submitted to support your child's application. This should be completed by a nominated religious referee and returned to the school once complete. More details can be found in the form below titled Clergy Form. Please note that the Clergy Form is the same for both Church of England and Other Church applicants.

Year 6 Banding Test
|
If you wish to be considered for a Language place, your child must attend the Language Aptitude Test on Tuesday the 14th of October, 2025. The test will take place at the St Michael's site at 98 Regency Street, SW1P 4GH. Your child must attend her allocated session, as per the schedule in the Language Aptitude Test Information sheet. More details about the test can be found in the document below titled Language Aptitude Test Information.
All students must attend the Banding Test on Monday the 1st of December, 2025. Please be aware that you will not receive an email invitation for this test. It is important that you read all of the information on this page and within the attached documents and attend your child's allocated session on the day, as per the schedule in the Banding Test Information sheet. This document will be published in late-October.
