Outcome of applications for a places in Year 7, September 2025
Parents and carers will be notified of the outcome of their application for a Year 7 place for their child at The Grey Coat for September 2025 in March. The first notification will be by email from their local education authority, which was sent out on the evening of Monday the 3rd of March.
Outcome letters from The Grey Coat Hospital will be despatched on Wednesday the 5th of March. Parents and carers who have not received their letter in the post by Wednesday the 12th of March should inform the school via the Contact Us Form, which can be found on the school's website under the heading, Contact Us. From here, a copy will be sent via email.
We will not be able to respond to waiting list enquiries until the 31st of March, once responses from those offered places are received.
Parents and carers considering submitting an appeal can find the form here. This must be completed and returned no later than Friday the 4th of April. The return address can be found both on the form and in your child's letter from the school.
Year 6 Open Day Sessions
The Grey Coat Hospital will host a number of open afternoon and evening sessions for parents and students who are interested in applying for Year 7 in 2026. More information about these sessions, including dates, times and links to book your tickets will be released in September.
