Visits

At the Grey Coat Hospital, we offer students a wide range of experiences that sit alongside and extend the school curriculum. Departments often take advantage of our central London location and give the students the opportunity to explore the sites, museums, and theatres on our doorstep. Our participation in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme encourages students to embrace the outdoors and develop their teamwork and leadership skills. We also offer a wide range of school trips that reflect our Language College status. As an introduction to our international visits and exchanges programme, Year 7 have the opportunity to take part in a residential trip to France or Germany in the summer term. These visits support students’ personal and social development while also contributing strongly to cross-curricular learning and our international ethos. In addition we have strong links with a variety of international partnership schools including in France, Germany, Spain and Japan.
